Durable Coating Galvanized Steel Tank for Drinking Water /Fire Water Storage

Description

Galvanized steel tanks are an economical and practical liquid storage solution, mainly used for storing firewater, drinking water, and irrigation water. Utilizing the galvanization process, these tanks provide a tough, wear-resistant, and durable protective coating for the tank body, offering advantages over other steel corrosion protection systems. Unlike other methods that prepare steel to form sufficiently adhesive protective coatings, galvanized tanks metallurgically bond zinc to the steel to create a protective coating. During use, the sacrificial anode protection of zinc ensures superior corrosion resistance for the steel base.

Galvanized steel tanks are designed strictly according to the AWWA D103-09 standard and are galvanized according to the GBT13912-2020 standard. They are convenient to transport, easy to install, cost-effective, and have a durable interior and exterior finish when assembled on-site.

Galvanized Steel Tanks Advantages
Lowest Initial Cost: Galvanizing offers a cost-effective solution, with lower initial costs compared to many other steel protective coatings.

Toughest Coating: The galvanized coating features a unique metallurgical structure that provides exceptional resistance to mechanical damage during transportation, installation, and use.

Automatic Protection of Damaged Areas: Zinc naturally corrodes faster than steel, offering cathodic or sacrificial protection to exposed areas of steel, ensuring ongoing protection against corrosion.

Complete Protection: Every part of the galvanized tank is fully protected, including recessed corners and hard-to-reach areas, ensuring comprehensive durability.

Easy to Inspect: The zinc coating is easily visible to the naked eye, and simple non-destructive methods can be used to measure its thickness, making inspections hassle-free.

Faster Installation Time: Galvanized steel panels arrive ready for use, eliminating the need for time-consuming surface preparation, painting, or on-site inspections, which speeds up the installation process.
