Large-Capacity Separator Pressure Vessel for Petrochemical Applications

Description

Separator

It is mainly used to complete the fluid pressure balance buffering and gas purification separation of the medium. It plays a key role in maintaining the stability of the fluid system and purifying the gas.

Structural features:

Rich internal components: In order to achieve a good separation effect, various components are usually provided inside, such as baffles, baffles, fillers, filters, cyclone plates, etc. These components can change the flow direction and speed of the fluid and promote the separation of the medium.

It has a variety of interfaces: there are medium inlets, outlets for different separation phases, and interfaces for installing safety accessories such as level gauges, pressure gauges, and safety valves.

Various materials: Different materials are selected according to the properties of the processed medium and working conditions. For corrosive media, corrosion-resistant materials such as stainless steel and fiberglass are often used; for high temperature and high pressure environments, high-strength materials such as alloy steel may be used to ensure the strength and corrosion resistance of the container and prevent leakage and damage.

01 Separators

Use the differences in physical or chemical properties of different media, such as density, particle size, adsorption, solubility, etc., to separate the mixed media into different components through gravity sedimentation, centrifugal separation, filtration, adsorption, membrane separation, etc.

Gravity Separator

Use the density differences of the components in the mixture to achieve separation under the action of gravity. The components with higher density sink and the components with lower density float, thus achieving the separation effect.

Cyclone Separator

By rotating the mixed flow, centrifugal force is generated to separate components with different densities. Commonly used to remove solids or droplets from gas.

Coalescing Separator

Mainly used for liquid-liquid separation, including coalescing filter element and separation filter element. The coalescing filter element makes tiny droplets gather into larger liquids, and the separation filter element further removes water. It is widely used in oil purification systems.

Steam-water Separator

In the steam system, the water in the steam is removed by mechanical barriers, changing the flow rate, changing the flow direction and impact, etc., to improve the steam quality.

Centrifugal Separators

Use the centrifugal force generated by high-speed rotation to separate liquids or solid particles of different densities. According to the separation task, it can be divided into clarifiers (solid-liquid separation), purifiers (liquid-liquid-solid separation) and concentrators.

Bearing Separators

Used to disassemble bearings in mechanical equipment, they are divided into hydraulic and manual types. Hydraulic separators often use hydraulic pressure to apply pressure to achieve safe separation of the shaft and the set; manual bearing separators rely on wedge-shaped components to slowly apply force and are suitable for smaller tasks.

02 Filters

Intercept and filter impurities and particles in fluids through porous media (such as filter screens, filter cloths, filter elements, etc.) to purify the fluid, allowing only substances that meet the pore size requirements to pass through, and intercepting impurities and particles larger than the pore size.

Mechanical Filters

Block impurities through physical barriers (such as filter screens and filter cloths) to achieve solid-liquid or gas-solid separation.

Adsorption Filters

Use adsorption media (such as activated carbon) to adsorb impurities, often used to remove organic matter and odors in gas or liquid.

Ion Exchange Filters

Remove specific ions from water through ion exchange resins, often used for water softening and removal of heavy metal ions.

Biofilters

Use the metabolism of microorganisms to decompose harmful substances, often used in wastewater treatment and air purification.

Air Filters

Specially used to purify particulate matter and pollutants in the air, widely used in engines, air conditioning systems, etc.

Oil Filters

Used to remove impurities in oil to ensure the normal operation of mechanical equipment.

Fuel Filters

Remove impurities and moisture in fuel to protect the engine system.
Hydraulic oil filter is used in hydraulic systems to remove contaminants from hydraulic oil and prevent system failure.

03 Steam Separator

The steam separator is an important auxiliary equipment of the steam boiler. Its main function is to distribute the steam generated by the boiler to various pipelines for use by different equipment. As a pressure-bearing equipment, the steam separator belongs to a pressure vessel, and its pressure bearing capacity and capacity should match the supporting boiler. The main function of the steam separator is to separate steam and water through the internal steam-water separation device. This process usually uses the density difference between steam and water to separate the two under the action of gravity to ensure the quality of steam delivered to various steam-using equipment.
